Stefan Dunlop continues to explore the history of painting and painting tropes present in Western art in the four large process paintings exhibited. Recurring themes are the figure in landscape and the romantic landscape in general with vague references to historical masterpieces. Periods of particular interest to the artist are the Baroque, Pop and Impressionist movements.
