This new series of works is painted from photographs of my own. The pictures are square in format, and have been posted on the social networking platform Instagram, before being translated into twenty by twenty inch paintings in oil. Two of each, there are six pairs, and the narrative changes according to how they are partnered. 

The stories follow my footsteps of the past few months, from Tasmania, to Montréal, Alaska, Sydney, and Seattle. The pairs transport me back to the childhood game of Memory, and Choose Your Own Adventure novels. The process of painting allows for deeper expression and pathos, altogether transforming the images.
